How much should I budget for ads?
The main expense to anticipate with a paid ads campaign is your ad budget, which you'll pay directly to the ad platform (e.g. Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.).

If you are unsure how much to spend on advertising, CommonMind will recommend a budget based on our goals.

If you're looking for a ballpark minimum spend, we generally recommend an ad spend of at least $10,000/month for Google, and $5,000/month/market segment for LinkedIn. Spending on other platforms is a little more variable.

Generally, these are the minimum spend levels required to saturate your audience sufficiently for ads to be effective, and to gather data for testing, optimization, and adjustments.

However, there are exceptions to the general rule, and we'd be happy to provide a more customized recommendation for your unique needs.
What additional expense to consider for my paid ad campaigns?

Outside of your ad spend, there are a few other expense to consider when investing in paid ad campaigns.

CommonMind includes ad copywriting and banner ad design in our pricing. Therefore, when you choose to work with CommonMind, this isn't an additional expense.

However, other writing and creative assets may be needed for your campaigns, including landing pages and videos. If you'd like CommonMind's assistance with landing page copywriting, or video production/editing, please let us know and we'd be happy to provide you with options.

Analytical expenses may include conversion rate optimization, and advanced dashboards beyond what the customization capabilities of our standard dashboards. If you'd be interested in either of these services, please inquire and we'd be happy to provide you with a quote.
